PREPARATION: Bring the milk and sugar to boil in a saucepan. Gradually pour in the cornmeal, stirring constantly. Simmer until very thick, about 30 minutes. Let cool to lukewarm and add the whole egg, yolks, butter and lemon rind.Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter a 9-inch cake pan and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs. Spread the polenta in the pan and bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
