Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F (230C).
  2. Drain, deseed and chop the tomatoes; wipe and slice the mushrooms.
  3. Press the dough out into a large round on an oiled baking tray.
  4. Spread with the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with a little oil.
  5. Mark the pizza into 4 equal sections with the back of a knife, without cutting through the dough.
  6. Top one section with mozzarella slices, the second with chopped artichokes, the third with mushrooms, and the last with the tuna and slivers of garlic.
  7. Bake in the hot oven for 20 minutes.

Cooking Tips

  • Drain and deseed the tomatoes so the base stays crisp
  • Score the quarters with the back of a knife as a topping guide
  • Slice the mushrooms thin so they cook through in 20 minutes
  • Scatter the garlic slivers only over the tuna quarter — that's the tradition
  • Use a hot oven and a preheated tray for the crispest crust
